Hum3D Car Render Challange Winners Announced!
The Hum3D Car Render Challange concluded this last month with a terrific amount of entries from some of the best artists around. The contest gave participants about a month and a half to create a car of their choice with a tiny environment slice around it. The Hum3D judges have announced the winners!
Kevin Boulton won with his Clay Maker render using 3ds Max to model, with Photoshop and Vray to render. Check out Kevin Boulton’s WIP!
In second place was Chamishka Gamage, who was inspired by night cityscapes in China. He used Maya, 3ds Max, Nuke Substance Painter and Redshift. Take a look at Chamishka’s WIP thread.
Third place went to Grigorii Kliver. Drawing inspiration from “24 hours of Le Mans” he used 3ds Max for modeling and Photoshop, Substance Painter and Corona render. To see how he put his model together, take a look at his WIP thread.
