ZBrush 4R7 is Here!

The long wait is finally over! Pixologic has officially released the highly anticipated 4R7. Boasting a large collection of new tools, and upgrades to old ones. The new Polygonal modeling tool ZModeler will allow users to hard surface model inside ZBrush, opening up so many more possibilities. NanoMesh is the new detailing and subsurface noise tool to help generate natural and imperfect details.

The ArrayMesh feature moves and stacks mesh copies with the TransPose action to layer and create a variety of detail in models.

Displacement rendering which uses BPR and works in junction with KeyShot Bridge to create surface noise. Use Surface Noise to build your own procedurally generated surfaces unique to your project. With new primitives to start from, expansions to the last replay, copy and paste between tools, and 64 bit support there is no reason not to get or upgrade to 4R7!
